Family Fun Day and Disability Resource Fair

Join DAWN Center for Independent Living on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 12pm-4pm for our Annual Family Fun Day and Disability Resource Fair. Bring a chair or a blanket to enjoy the various activities and entertainment. This event is free and open to all community members.

This event will be held at Central Park of Morris County (1 Gov. Chris Christie Dr. Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ 07850), featuring Morris County’s accessible playground and ballfield.

Various activities from 12pm-3pm will include:

• Community Resource Fair- Meet with service providers who serve Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties.
• Food Trucks by Colonial Grill
• Live Music throughout the day by Marin Contini
• Reptile Show and Turtle Races by Snakes ‘n’ Scales
• Lawn Games for all ages
• Picture opportunities with Minnie Mouse
• Activity tables including
  • A planting activity
  • Sensory activities
  • STEM
  • And more!
• Scavenger Hunt
• Prizes

At 3pm join us on Challenger Field- Morris County’s Accessible baseball field for a Wheelchair Softball Game! You can watch and cheer the players on or you can join in the game by using one of the wheelchairs provided!
